Time to say goodbye

 

After ten wonderful years of heading up the ARBC One Another Ministry, we are saying goodbye to our leader, Michelle Knight.

Most of the OA events and ideas we have implemented came from her master mind. She has been a wonderful leader, and faithful servant during these years. We are very glad for the years we worked together and have so many sweet memories to celebrate. 

There will be adjustments made to OA in the months to come, but we trust the Lord will continue to bless us and guide us as we serve Him wholeheartedly. Our goal, as always, is to bring glory to Him.  

Below is Michelle’s personal message to you:

 Hello.  As you may know by now, Eric and I have recently left ARBC.  While we will miss you very much, we are at peace with how God is leading us.  And since we felt that we needed to tell Pastor Josh and Pastor Joe before we shared this news widely, we didn’t get to tell everyone in person.    

Since we started what has now become OneAnother Women’s Ministry, back in 2011, I can honestly say it’s been one of the biggest blessings in my life.  I was still fairly new to Iowa and ARBC and I was still terribly home sick.  The opportunity was just what I needed!  Serving in this way helped me to focus more on God and others and less on myself. 

During my time with OneAnother and at ARBC, I’ve seen God’s faithfulness over and over again.  And I’ve made some wonderful friends.  Sister-friends.  We’ve prayed, laughed, cried, grieved, celebrated and served together.  My hope is that we’ll all continue to do this anywhere and everywhere The Lord leads us.
