2023 Retreat Recap

Hello there!

It has been a while since we last updated this place. Our apologies for the delay! But here we are again, bringing to you the highlights of our 2023 Ladies Retreat. We praise God for a wonderful and profitable time!

Our Ladies's Retreat started on Friday evening with a delicious dinner followed by games, praises, lots of laughs, and a challenge from the Word of God brought by Alne Hartog. She kept us entertained as well as immersed in God's Word with the help of Troy, her beloved guitar. Alne reminded us of our unity in Christ that should translate into unity in purpose: to glorify God in all we do. The night continued with games, snacks, and sweet fellowship afterward.

Saturday morning, after a hearty breakfast, we had Alne again challenging us to purposefully seek to bless and encourage others through sacrificial service and hospitality. We also had Clea Rathbun presenting on the blessings and hurdles of biblical hospitality. Finally, Alne gave us some practical applications on how to build one another up through sacrificial service.   

Shout out to Carmela Tarvin and Lydia Turman who led our group in praise! It was such a blessing to learn new songs (to us anyway :)) and sing them together. Thank you, ladies, for your willingness to serve!
