College Care Packages

     During our latest Girls' Night Out, held March 2nd, we requested that the ladies bring cookies to share with our college students. With mid-terms right around the corner, our desire was to be a blessing to the students.

 

     We would like to extend a big "Thank You!" to Susan and Megan Dawson for organizing this portion of our night. In addition to the organization, they provided multiple cards for each student. We enjoyed writing our notes of encouragement for them!

    

    We are so thankful for the young people that God has sent our way and this was a wonderful reminder for us  to pray for them as they continue to seek God's leading in their lives.

First GNO of the Year

What a big turn out for the first Girl's Night Out of 2024! 

 We had a lovely time with fellowship, food, and games. The evening also involved writing cards, packing cookies, and praying for the college students of our church. 

We even had a couple of them joining in the fun with us, which is always a plus.  It is great to have the younger generation around! Notice that I am not calling the rest of us old, just less young! Susan and Megan Dawson did a great job preparing cards with the students names so that we continue to pray for each of them at home. The game part of the night revealed all kinds of secrets from young and not so young alike. It was so entertaining to guess which secret belonged to whom! All in all, it was a great evening nicely spent in good company.

We are so excited with the jump start of "Just Sisters"! Thank you to all those who signed up and embraced the idea.  Now that you have been all matched up with your not so secret sister, go make some good memories. We can't wait to see what God will do as we strive to encourage each other in the love of Christ. We wish you will be as blessed as we already are with this project. Praying for you all!
